The goal of the CONSERVE® Family of Hip Products is simple: conserve as much
bone as possible.
At Wright, we are committed to developing technologies that will preserve a
patient's bone stock over many years. The CONSERVE® Family offers
patients a bone conserving, minimally invasive approach to hip resurfacing and
hip replacement surgery. This family of products, Wright's CONSERVE® hip
implants, work to provide you with a plan for treatment of
your hip pain.
The first and most bone-conserving procedure is partial
hip resurfacing. This procedure conserves the entire acetabulum (hip socket)
and only resurfaces the femoral head (where the leg joins the hip), thus
preserving the femur's vital head and neck bone stock.
The second approach is total
hip replacement. This procedure utilizes the same thin, acetabular shell
that is implanted in the total resurfacing procedure, coupled with a BFH™ (Big
Femoral Head) head and femoral stem.
Wright is the only orthopaedic company to offer this 3-tiered solution.
However, only your doctor can say whether or not you are a candidate for one of
these products.

products. Take back your active life!
