Introducing the CONSERVE® Family of Hip Products

Conserve as much bone as possible. That has been Wright’s goal in designing the CONSERVE® Family of Implants, which work to provide a bone conserving, minimally invasive approach to hip resurfacing and hip replacement.

The first offering in Wright’s family of products is a simple, partial hip resurfacing procedure performed with the CONSERVE® Partial Resurfacing Implant. This procedure preserves the femoral head and neck and does not invade the femoral canal. In addition, the acetabulum is left completely intact.

The second offering is a total, primary hip replacement implanted in the patient’s body. The CONSERVE® Total Hip with BFH™ Technology mimics the natural kinematics of the hip by replacing the body’s natural head with a large diameter femoral head implant. The result of this increased femoral head diameter is a reduction in the chance of dislocation.
