 CONSERVE® Total A-CLASS™
Advanced Metal with BFH® Technology Hip System

The A-CLASS™ Advanced Metal innovation is a patent-pending process that is the solution to the reduction of wear. It is the first of the A-CLASS™ product family which is a proprietary metal manufacturing process that focuses on the issues of wear and metal ions. This new innovative process is superior to current products within the industry exhibiting on average a ten-fold reduction in the run-in wear rate. This innovative process is the consideration of the entire bearing system rather than one specific feature. Wear and lubrication are a phenomena affected by friction, surface finish, component clearances, surface hardness, sphericity, and surface velocity.

The A-CLASS™ Advanced Metal approach will also be expanded to include many other products to provide surgeons and patients with the most innovative and technologically advanced products.
