The ADVANTIM® Total Knee System was first introduced in 1982 and has more than 19 years of successful clinical history.
The durability of the system is enhanced through optimized femorotibial contact areas and reduced roughness of all articulating surfaces. Developed to meet the needs of patients with special stability requirements, the ADVANTIM® Posterior Stabilized implants incorporate a unique combination of design features including precise restoration of the patellar tracking mechanism, wide femoral condyles, integral femoral housing, optimal tibial fixation, and modular femoral and tibial stems.
A complete revision system is available for a difficult primary to a demanding revision case. The ADVANTIM® Total Knee System also offers a variety of tibial implant choices.
Each tibial implant is specifically designed with seven sizes and a unique set of features for optimal performance. The surgeon can choose from either an all-polyethylene tibia, fully porous-coated modular tibial base, cobalt-chrome non-porous tibial base, wedge augmentation tibial base or a thick tibial base to restore the joint line in severe revision cases.
The ADVANTIM® Total Knee System utilizes simple and precise instrumentation with a single reference point to ensure accurate bone cuts and allows the advantages of patient demand matching with one set of instruments.
