GUARDIAN® Distal Femur

The GUARDIAN® Distal Femur is ideal for cases involving severe bone loss. Such damage may be due to tumors, trauma or failed knee arthroplasty, even in cases where bone loss is so great that the ligaments cannot be saved. The prosthesis consists of an optional stem centralizer, a stem, and a hinged knee that includes tibial and femoral assemblies. The constrained design precludes the need for a patellar component.
