How it Works

High Flexion, High Stability

A normal knee actually pivots on its medial condyle. When the knee flexes, the lateral side rolls back while the medial side spins in one place. With this in mind, Wright designed the ADVANCE® Medial-Pivot Knee System to replicate this motion. The ADVANCE® Medial-Pivot Knee features a medial conformity that controls the motion of the medial femoral compartment, effectively reproducing the medial pivoting motion of a normal knee. This increased movement, bending, and flexibility feel more like a normal knee joint due to the patented design.

Medial-Pivot implant — Notice how it stays put during motion

Competitor’s implant — It actually slides forward a bit with normal knee motion. This motion would make most patients feel unstable.
