"I'm not as competitive as I used to be on the track, but I enjoy the competition," Mark said. "I feel much better. I'm ready and better than ever. I'll probably go back to Iraq at least one more time."

"Before the surgery, I couldn't run, I couldn't play soccer. Now, there's no pain in the joint at all. Hip replacement gave me my life back."

"I felt depressed when I was diagnosed with osteoarthritis a few years ago knowing that surgery would be in my future and unsure of how well I would come back afterward. But, now I am so glad I had the surgery because my new hip feels better than ever. I am back to running and feel great mentally. I would recommend this to anyone else who is experiencing severe hip pain."

"I am so thankful for my new lease on life. I can once again do all of the activities normally taken for granted, like carrying my laundry around the house. I also wouldn't have been able to change careers if it hadn't been for the surgery, because my new job requires being on my feet often. I would recommend the BFH® replacement to anyone else in a similar position. I only wish I had the surgery sooner!"

"I'm so happy with the operation. I love my perfect new hips. They have changed my life for the better!"

Besides living without any pain in his left hip, Roger is back on the golf course, back to bowling, and is ultimately enjoying his active lifestyle again–all thanks to his hip replacement.

"It might seem like I was young for a hip replacement," David said. "But my choice was to have the quality of life while I'm still able to do the things I love to do. I'm very happy with my decision."

Sana's doctor said. "She is in such good physical condition, and so physically aggressive, the Big Femoral Head was definitely the way to go for her."

"If you're very active, you are likely going to outlive your hip and knee joints," John said. "I couldn't see myself giving up the things I love to do. So hip surgery was the right answer, and there was no reason to wait."

"Over the course of five weeks I gradually went from using the walker, to crutches, to one crutch, to using a cane," she said. "And after five weeks I could walk unassisted." After 12 weeks she returned to work full-time.

"Today, at the gym, people come up to me and say it's amazing I am back. Thanks to my hip replacement, I have experienced a phenomenal, profound change. I am so grateful to Wright."

When asked how she feels after the hip replacement surgery she sums it up in one word, "Amazing!"

"I am mainly relieved that I can do anything I want to again, no excuses."

"I was stiff after surgery, but I pushed myself with my trainer's help and created more speed and strength in my body's movements. It made a real difference in my golf game."

"I can do many activities that don't require intense speed like swimming, batting with my kids, and biking. I hope to get back into the competitive sports that I used to do. I couldn't be happier that this new technology exists and that I don't experience chronic pain anymore."

Catherine was only out of work for two months following her CONSERVE® Total Hip replacement with BFH® Technology. She is able to exercise regularly and mentions that "each day gets better" as she carefully returns to the activities that she loves.

"It was such an achievement for me to be back on the golf course and win only a couple of months after surgery. Before I had my hip replaced, I could hardly play nine holes of golf without being in excruciating pain – never mind three days of 18-hole golf."

Kevin believes that the PATH® surgical technique "made all the difference in the world" compared to the experience of his first surgery.

Dan can't believe how quickly he recovered and is looking forward to enjoying the rest of his life pain-free..."Now, I am able to use my entire body again."

"I feel I am almost as good as new!"

"I knew that hip replacement technology had come a long way, and with the tissue-sparing technique Dr. Daluga used called PATH®, I have only two very small scars. The bigger one is only about two inches long."

"Since I was first diagnosed with spondylitis in 1974, I had only been able to ride a bike for 30 minutes a day maximum. But, now I am able to bike for miles, swim and even walk a mile to work each day. I'm no longer hobbling along. It's just amazing. Hips certainly aren't what they used to be!"

The day after surgery, Andrew was walking with a cane. "Even hours after the surgery, I felt better than before - pain-wise."

"I am no longer in any pain, where before my surgery I was in pain 24/7 and couldn't sleep at night. I am 80 percent of what I used to be, but I hope and expect to get to 110 percent. I highly recommend this procedure to others who are postponing treatment due to any pain they may be experiencing."

The very next day, Adam stated that the nurses "had me out of bed and walking around, I couldn't even believe it!"

"I am so utterly happy with the procedure, it is like a miracle. Dr. Penenberg is my hero now."

The day following Jon's surgery, he walked out of the hospital with a cane; two days later, he was walking without assistance; and three days later, he was back to work. After a month of rehabilitation, Jon was virtually pain-free and plotting his return to the water.

“With the pain finally gone, they said that I am now back to my old self.”

Cecelia completed a half marathon with her daughter. “It was my first half marathon and I was very happy with my time,” she said. “I’m planning to do another one in the future!”

"With my new hip, I got my old life back. This is what retirement is supposed to be like!"

Michael knew he made the right decision 10 weeks post-surgery when he was able to play tennis with his collegiate athlete sons. As he says, "Nothing is better than playing competitive tennis with your sons and really giving them a run for their money."

Less than two months after her surgery Jackie was back on her motorcycle, kicking it into gear and taking it out for a nice long relaxing, pain-free, ride.

Karen has gotten back to her old self now that she has had her hip replaced. She is able to go walking, do gardening and even jump on a trampoline. "I feel 20 years younger. I just can't believe it!"

Today, Doris is pain free and is enjoying a happier, more productive life; thrilled that she no longer must delegate tasks to co-workers. Being pain-free also means she is able to enjoy uninterrupted nights of sleep. Most importantly, she is once again able to play with her grandchildren.

This procedure was a piece of cake. It was less painful than a root canal," says Rick. "To feel zero pain, after recovery, is like a fairy tale."

"I don't even think about my hips anymore," he said. "They are a non-issue. They feel as good as they did before I ever started having problems."

"It's feeling pretty good," Otis said of his new hip. "A whole lot better than it did last year, and I can tell it's getting better every day."

"I'm now going to outpatient physical therapy, and I'm moving much better than before the surgery, and in so much less pain."

"This technology is amazing. I haven't noticed any difference in my original range of motion. My left hip works just as good as the right."

"I'm stunned by how well this minimally-invasive hip replacement surgery was. I'm now able to be pain free which is phenomenal because the pain had been unbearable."

"Looking back, if I'd known how good I would feel, I would have had it (a bilateral hip replacement) done a few years prior. It's wonderful to have my life back."

“At first I dreaded the thought of undergoing another hip replacement. However, after learning about the SUPERPATH™ technique I felt at ease, and the results have certainly confirmed that feeling!”
