Limb Reconstruction

Introduction
Limb reconstruction is an attractive alternative for most bone cancer patients because it restores the natural function of the affected limb without disfiguring the body. A limb can be reconstructed using either an expandable prostheses (such as REPIPHYSIS® Expandable Implant or GUARDIAN®), an allograft, or an allograft prosthetic composite. These different options are described further in the following sections.
