Is GRAFTJACKET® Regenerative Tissue Matrix - Ulcer Repair Right for You?

GRAFTJACKET® Matrix is donated human skin. It is processed using the highest of standards for safety. Over 850,000 grafts of GRAFTJACKET® Matrix and other forms of acellular dermis have been distributed for many different applications with a low incidence of adverse reactions.

All the components that are in GRAFTJACKET® Matrix are preserved in their biologic state. This means that the body can use these components to help repair itself. This matrix often requires a one-time application, meaning only one surgery.

If you have a chronic wound that is slow to heal, especially if it is deep, GRAFTJACKET® Matrix may be right for you.

You are not a Candidate for GRAFTJACKET® Matrix if:
  • You have been diagnosed with autoimmune connective tissues diseases such as Graves disease, lupus, scleroderma, or rheumatoid arthritis.
  • You have an infected or nonvascular (lacking blood vessels) surgical site, unless specifically prescribed by a physician
  • You have a sensitivity to certain antibiotics
  • You have anatomical or functional manifestations of a disease that would limit the blood supply and compromise healing
  • If you currently suffer from poor nutrition and/or poor general medical condition
