Case No. 102 Fracture: Tibial Plateau
CASE STUDY | Intra-op fluoroscopic image showing injection; 3 month, 6 month and 12 month radiograph.

Intra-op 3 Months 6 Months 12 Months

TWENTY-NINE YEAR-OLD FEMALE
with multiple trauma including a bicondylar tibial plateau fracture. The pre-op CT and x-ray demonstrated significant comminution and impaction. After meticulous reduction and disimpaction of fragments, the resultant void was filled with approximately 15cc of PRO-DENSE® graft. The three month x-ray demonstrates primary resorption of graft and apparent newly regenerated dense bone. CT scans at three months suggest dense bone repair. The twelve month radiograph shows complete resorption of the graft and dense regenerate that is in the process of being remodeled.

At 12 months the radiograph shows full resorption of the graft and regeneration of bone. The patient is full weight bearing with excellent ROM.

CASE STUDY | 3 month CT scan.
