Case No. 502 Bone Cyst: Proximal Tibia
CASE STUDY | One week radiographs.

One Week

SIXTEEN YEAR-OLD MALE
presented with a simple cyst in the left proximal tibia. After debridement, approximately 15 cc of PRO-DENSE® graft were used to fill the lesion site. New bone formation was detected at 5 weeks. Radiographs at 3 and 6 months demonstrated a continual progression of new bone formation during this period. A small amount of residual graft was still detectable at 6 months.

At 6 weeks, patient discontinued crutches and at 3 months returned to full activity. No complications were reported and patient was pain-free after surgery.
