Case No. 503 Fibroma: Distal Tibia
CASE STUDY | Pre-op radiographs.

 
Pre-op

THIRTEEN YEAR-OLD MALE
with a non-ossifying fibroma in the posterolateral left distal tibia. The lesion was debrided and grafted with 15 cc of PRO-DENSE® graft. New bone formation could be seen in the 6 week radiographs. At 14 weeks, most of the graft was replaced with new bone.

Patient was pain-free after surgery, placed in a walking cast at 5 weeks and returned to light impact activity by 14 weeks. No complications were reported.
