Case No. 600 Fracture: Tibial Plateau
CASE STUDY | Immediate post-op radiograph and CT.

 
Post-Op

SEVENTY YEAR-OLD FEMALE
presented with a Schtazker Type V proximal tibia fracture after falling off a ladder. Fifteen cc of PRO-DENSE® graft was used to fill the fracture depression in the tibial plateau.

Radiographs at 12 weeks and 24 weeks show progressive formation of new bone replacing the graft material. Fracture reduction was maintained during the post-operative period. By 24 weeks, the patient was fully weightbearing with a good ROM.
