Case No. 602 Fracture: Tibial Plateau
CASE STUDY | Pre-op CT, 12 week and 24 week radiographs and CT.

 
 
Pre-Op   12 Weeks 24 Weeks

THIRTY-FIVE YEAR-OLD FEMALE
slipped and fell resulting in a Schtazker Type V fracture of the proximal tibia. The fracture depression was treated with 8 cc of PRO-DENSE® graft.

Results from radiographs and CT scans at 12 weeks and 24 weeks show a progressive healing sequence with new bone formation. Patient was pain-free after surgery. At 6 weeks, the patient was put on a walker and partially weight-bearing. At 12 weeks, the patient was placed on crutches and had full extension with a ROM of 110° flexion. By 24 weeks, the patient was fully weight-bearing with a ROM of 125° flexion.
