Case No. 603 Fracture: Tibial Plateau
CASE STUDY | Pre-op radiograph.

THIRTY-SEVEN YEAR-OLD MALE
presented with a Schtazker Type VI proximal tibia fracture as a result of a fall. The fracture depression was treated with 8 cc of PRO-DENSE® graft.

Radiographs at 12 weeks and 24 weeks show a consistent progression of graft material being replaced with new bone. At 12 weeks, ROM was 110°. By 24 weeks, the ROM had increased to 125°. Patient was pain-free after surgery, placed on crutches at 6 weeks and completely weight-bearing at 12 weeks. Fracture reduction was maintained throughout the postoperative period.

No complications were reported.
