Case No. 604 Fracture: Tibial Plateau
CASE STUDY | Pre-op radiographs.

THIRTY-SEVEN YEAR-OLD MALE
presented with a Schtazker Type V proximal tibia fracture injury incurred while playing sports. The depression in the tibial plateau was grafted with PRO-DENSE® graft.

Post-operative evaluation showed replacement of graft material with new bone and maintenance of fracture reduction at all time points. At 12 weeks, ROM was 90° flexion. By 24 weeks, the patient had full extension with a 110° ROM. The patient was weight bearing as tolerated with the assistance of a cane during ambulation.

No complications were reported.
