Case No. 605 Fracture: Calcaneus
CASE STUDY | Pre-op radiographs.

 
Pre-Op

THIRTY-FIVE YEAR-OLD MALE
roofer fractured his calcaneus after a fall from height. The fracture was treated with a calcaneal fracture plate and 15cc of PRO-DENSE® graft.

Radiographs within the 10 month follow-up timeframe show progressive resorption of the graft and dense bone within the treated area. Postoperative protocol consisted of non-weightbearing for first 8 weeks followed by progressive weightbearing as tolerated. Patient achieved full weightbearing at 12 weeks. Currently, the patient is at full activity and has returned to work.
